Here's a solution to a problem you probably didn't know that you had: ordering food for everyone from different food carts. Of course, dining at a food cart lot often entails several different food preferences, ordering from various carts, multiple payments, and fluctuating wait times. On Tap, an eastside food cart and outdoor taphouse has made it easy to order—and pick-up!—from multiple food carts, all with one simple checkout.

Using the new Porter system, On Tap is able to offer both dine-in and take-out food pick-ups from their bar counter. Customers can now arrive knowing that their Barrio nachos, CurbBQ brisket grilled cheese, and Bleu Rooster PBLT (pork belly BLT!) will be paid and ready as soon as they order their ciders and beers. "COVID hit us shortly before launch and it seemed to be perfect timing. The beautiful part about their program is that you can use it at home or while you’re dining at on tap. You can order from multiple food trucks on your phone and only pay once," according to On Tap's owners, "It’s definitely been working well for the carts. We used it in the bar for the two months we were limited to take out only and it was great for us then, too!"
